She is the elder daughter of 2004 US Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry. Her mother was Julia Thorne, who was married to John Kerry from 1970 until their divorce in 1988. Alexandra has a younger sister, Vanessa Kerry. Both sisters were active in their father's 2004 Presidential campaign.

Imogen Mary Thomas (born November 27, 1982 in Llanelli, South Wales, UK) was a bar hostess and former beauty queen from Wales, although she was residing in London before her entry into the Big Brother house. She has a degree in Psychology and a degree in Health Studies from the University of Worcester and was crowned Miss Wales in 2003, beating future Big Brother 9 winner Rachel Rice who came third.

She has appeared in numerous Welsh television and radio programmes since leaving the house.
